I am someone who cares deeply about this world we get to call home.

My sustainability story began ten years ago when I started a blog.

That blog became The Green Hub. A content platform that somehow grew into a full-time job and a community of like-minded humans who also wanted to live with intention (and a little less waste).

Since then, I’ve worked ethical brands, climate orgs, conservation groups, slow fashion labels, and media platforms that share my values.

Translating science into human speak. Avoiding the greenwash.

Helping businesses talk about what they do in a way that connects with people.

These days, I spend my time between writing and my garden.

I’m a newly minted gardener and, in true “this is my whole personality now” fashion, I spend most weekends knee-deep in dirt, planning, planting, and occasionally panic-Googling things like why is my grevillea sad.

I’m in the middle of an ambitious (read: slightly chaotic) project to turn my Gold Coast backyard into a native habitat garden. Fellow garden enthusiasts can read all about the garden (mis)adventures on my gardening Substack.

I love the natural world. Because we are nature.

We’re not outside of it, not above it. We are inextricably linked to every living thing on this planet.

And I believe that those of us who care about this world, about each other, about the future, can use what we do, and what we make, as a force for good.

We can create things that are thoughtful. That give back.

That leave things a little better than we found them.

I have a science degree (in Biology), which means I spent years learning how to decode complex stuff. And I know how to translate the technical-speak into language your audience understands.

I’ve completed courses in Content and Copywriting through the Australian Writers' Centre.

But most of what I’ve learned has come from a decade of doing the work. Writing, editing, and running a successful sustainability-focused content platform that reached hundreds of thousands of readers.

I know what it takes to create content that your people will connect with.

What makes me qualified to write for your business?

Walking the Talk

I write about sustainability, but I also try to live it.

The Copy Hub runs on renewable energy from my home on Yugambeh Country. We’re a one-car household, and my trusty e-bike is my steed of choice. I’m incredibly lucky to live in an urban area where that’s possible.

I donate monthly to Greenfleet and Pay the Rent. As I learn and grow, I’m always looking for ways to deepen my commitment. To do better, not just talk about it.
